BigDataCamp is a free, unconference for users of Hadoop and related Big Data technologies to exchange ideas in a loosely distributed format. Attendees are encouraged to propose topics & share thoughts in open discussions, including Lightning Talks, Unpanels & Unconference Sessions.
Data scientists, data engineers, enterprise architects, developers, analysts, data mining and business intelligence professionals are encouraged to attend and mix with other members of the community.
This is the first BigDataCamp in Chicago. Previously BigDataCamps have only been held in Silicon Valley & DC. All attendees and anyone else interested in learning about Big Data can join us. Be prepared for a lively discussion, coffee & bagels, and if we get some more sponsors, some lunch and a frost beverage or two.
